At the end of March, the Serbian Ministry of Interior at the ceremony of taking oath by young employees demonstrated the new LAZAR armored personnel carriers with the wheel formula 8х8 produced by the Serbian military-industrial association Hugoimport-SDPR, reports bmpd with reference to yugoimport.com.

Among the armored vehicles - "APC LAZAR 2, equipped combat unit of production of the Russian JSC" Muromteplovoz "with 30-mm automatic cannon 2A42, and six of the newest LAZAR 3, equipped with designed" Јugoimport - SDPR "remotely controlled weapon station M15 with 12,7-mm machine gun M87 (licensed version of the NSVT machine gun), ”the publication says.

According to information from open sources, to date, the Serbian army had six LAZAR 2 armored personnel carriers, and the gendarmerie of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs had two vehicles of the same modification (with combat modules M15). Three more LAZAR 2 were shipped to Pakistan.
