Day of the military commissariats in the Russian Federation
The next spring draft campaign began, and, according to tradition, a week after its start, the Day of the officers of the Russian military commissariats is celebrated. e) send for medical examination at the district military commissariat of persons recognized by the volost Council as incapable of performing military service;
e) issue certificates to persons who have completed the course of universal military education.
The decree states that employees of the Soviet military commissariats must conduct widespread agitation, "both orally and in print." At the same time, the process of agitation stands out not only in provincial or district cities, but also in rural areas.

The military commissariats of the young Soviet Russia carried out tremendous work on mobilization during the civil war and foreign military intervention, creating new work principles, which, having developed significantly, allowed to carry out effective mobilization activities during the Great Patriotic War.
To date, more than 80 military commissariats consisting of more than one and a half thousand departments in municipalities and urban districts function as territorial defense bodies.
