New aerobatic team on the Yak-130: competing with England and France

16

As reported by RIA "News"Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General A. Zelin, the new aerobatic team of the Russian Air Force on the Yak-130 light combat training aircraft will compete with aerobatic teams of Great Britain and France.

In 2011, the Russian Air Force purchased a batch of YN-55 training and combat aircraft from 130. Earlier, the commander-in-chief repeatedly announced plans to create a new group on the basis of these planes. The organization of the aerobatic team would make extensive use of the smoke effects applied by foreign aerobatic teams.

In an interview with RIA Novosti, Zelin said that currently the world's leading aviation Powers have aerobatic teams, primarily on light aircraft, successfully performing at world aviation forums. In Russia, there is no group operating on light aircraft. Therefore, the creation of a third aerobatic team on the Yak-130 would successfully complement the world-famous “Knights” and “Swifts”. In addition, the new group would compete with the French Patrol de France and the British Red Arrows.

According to the commander in chief, the creation of this pilot group will strengthen Russia's authority as a great aviation power.

At the same time, the commander-in-chief reported that recently there appeared materials in the mass media about the creation of an aerobatic team on the Yak-130 - instead of "Swifts" and "Vityazi". The commander said: "There is no plan to disband the pride of the Russian Air Force."

Patrol de France is an aerobatic flight group on Alpha Jet light aircraft using smoke generators (red, white, blue). "Red Arrows" - the aerobatic team of the British Royal Air Force; known for performing aerobatics.

Yak-130, developed by OKB im. Yakovlev, designed to train and improve the skills of pilots flying the MiG-29, Su-30 and F-16. This aircraft is equipped with two turbojet engines and can carry up to three tons of combat load. The maximum range of its flight (without additional tanks) is two thousand kilometers. Maximum speed - 1000 km / h. At present, the Yak-130 for Algeria is assembled at the Irkutsk aircraft factory. Also, Irkut has a contract to supply 6 of such aircraft for Libya. However, due to the political crisis, the contract is still frozen.

Great news !!! We already have no competitors in the aerobatic teams, and with the introduction of the 3rd aerobatic team there will be no one to compete with at all. At the same time, we’ll make an advertising of the Yak-130, a great move!

I, too, can’t understand everything, why do not Russians use Su-47 to promote their equipment ?? After all, everyone likes him who saw him !!! ) And it’s shown once every 2-3 years ... It’s clear that it won’t go into the series, but at least a couple more and that they showed aerobatics at an air show ... Right now any kid on the planet knows what F- 117, B2, Raptor, SR-71 ... and no less impressive Su-47 is generally not known to the general public ...%)

Su-47 flying laboratory for PAK FA, not a show parade.

Good planes. Of course, drying is better, but SU is too expensive.

No, Yakovlev’s design bureau and the Italians initially worked together .. That's what they leaked to the Chinese - such suspicions really go on the network ..

Maybe not in the subject, but I like the "Berkuts" aerobatic team. The group flies on six Mi-24 attack helicopters. Nice and like an advertisement for Russian helicopters. smile

And especially enthusiastic, but it doesn’t seem to you that this is being pushed through, just what the Commander-in-Chief says in the article, as they say, "the master of the word" - he wanted to give it, but wanted to take it, our MO is managed by "successful managers" groups have divorced and will be reduced (guess which), but the smoke will be beautifully let out:

... "Unique aerobatic teams will be disbanded - the Ministry of Defense does not have enough money for them. Instead of Swifts and Russian Knights, a new team will be formed, which will fly on training aircraft ..."

... “According to Anatoly Serdyukov,“ bending loops on combat aircraft is too expensive. ”Therefore, instead of them, it is necessary to create a new air group that will fly on cheaper aircrafts. The last performance of“ Swifts ”and“ Russian Knights ”should take place at air show MAKS-2011, which will be held on August 16 - 21.

"The new aerobatic team will not fly on heavy production aircraft, but on the Yak-130 training bench. Like almost all other aerobatic teams in the world. We will lose what we were respected for and what we could not repeat. Moreover, the Yak-130 - This is actually not a domestic aircraft. All of its filling is imported, "the newspaper quotes its source at the aviation headquarters." ...

By the way, if I’m not mistaken, then only Russia and the USA can afford flight groups on combat fighters. If wrong, correct. recourse

Oh yes, I forgot to say what all the fuss is about, because now "loot rules". In 2009, the 16th Air Army was disbanded, and the military department wanted to at the same time liquidate the air base in Kubinka belonging to this army. In its place, they were going to create the country's first airfield for business aviation.

You are not mistaken at amers on the Hornets Blue angels + Hercules fly with accelerators. Something can do the same, you won’t take it away! We were on a Cuban visit and a show!
And the third group we had long been on the Su-25 Blue Hussars, and the 4th was Russia from Vyazma on the L-39.
It’s just that now we can have 2 groups — one on the Yak-130s, God forbid, and the second on Stools, with the Taburetkin head

A very beautiful plane is just a SWALLOW. It’s good that it is training and combat. Most likely it will be useful to us. I think the creation of an aerobatic team is the right step. There will be advertising to the planes.
