Two Qadir-class submarines adopted by the Iranian Navy

The Iranian Navy received for service two lightweight submarines of the Qadir type of domestic production. Information about this spread Press TV, referring to IRNA.

According to Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari (Habibollah Sayari), Commander of the Iranian Navy, both submarines are completely built by Iranian experts. Submarines can perform tasks in shallow water, and there are torpedoes in their armament.

In view of the new submarines, the number of Qadir-type submarines in service with the Iranian Navy has reached 16 units. Three submarines joined the Iranian Navy in November 2011. The Iranian Navy received the first ship of this type in 2007.

Gadir-class submarines were built on the basis of North Korean-made submarines of the Yeno type. The displacement of the "Qadir" - 120 t, but more detailed those. characteristics of the submarine is not disclosed. In turn, the Eno submarines can develop 11 units speed, and they have two 533-millimeter torpedo tubes armed with them.

Local media reported that the creation of submarines "Gadir" technology is used stealth.

In addition to "Gadirov", the Iranian Navy submarine fleet includes 3 Soviet submarines "Halibus" of the 877 project acquired at the beginning of 90 and the submarine "Nahang", which Iranian shipbuilders built in 2006. Kayem, capable of performing tasks on the high seas. There is practically no information about this project.

Well done ... It’s clear that nothing shines for the Iranians in open sea battles, but in shallow water, and even with small, inconspicuous boats, you can decently decoy ... Underwater monsters will not go there, and the rest will be very tough for these kids ...

Who knows the appearance of a baby, but inside there may be some kind of surprise for the Pindos.

Nice babies who can make a rustle. Quiet boats, and most importantly almost invisible. It is very, very difficult to find such things. The aircraft carrier will not be sunk, but a cruiser, destroyer, landing ship, transport, small rocket ship, etc. I think easily. 533mm TA is suitable for missile systems such as "Club-N", "Club-S", which are specifically designed to combat ships of this class. I don’t know whether we sold such systems to Iran or not, but in India and China they are for sure. Surely they supplied to Iran ... If so, the pendostan will have to strain in terms of PLO.

Torpedo tubes alone are not enough for missiles. It is necessary to install submarines and control systems

Well, they have not only monsters underwater. German submarines type 206A for example. Not large (450 tons) and write them off. It’s the most into Iranian puddle. Well, or brand new type 212

So Iran needs to arm itself, that is, the Pindos are leading their so-called "world order" and Iran has not just another way out IMHO ...

What they themselves build, of course, well done. It is not known what these mini boats can do, what the filling is, but they look like boats of the late 30s. I hope they are doing well with modern equipment.

I agree it doesn’t look very good, but they really mean something and let it sink. If amerokosy are not afraid and do not swim away. Although they say that the submarine at depths of up to 100 meters is visible from the air, if these submarines are in shallow water, then it’s possible that they’ll be found by the anti-submarine and will be guided by anti-submarine missiles.

And don’t say it! Some bathyscaphes! I’m silent about the name and appearance! Apparently, they are intended only for shallow water, that is, actions in the sea!

I can hardly imagine the capabilities of these boats.
Judging by the size of the crew - 5 - 10 people, most likely all officers, such as 1 person - 1 combat unit.

Serious torpedo tubes, perhaps as a carrier, can throw a surprise, but it seems to me that if hostilities begin, the ships will be the first to flood them, so they most likely will not have time to participate in the battle.

I think it’s realistic to use it only at night and for small purposes.

... In my humble opinion, the amateur in this area does not speak of any stealth and quietness of these babies - the bodies are not lined with evidence, and with a bunch of protruding parts ... Although one hell is better than nothing ...

Small submarines - efficiency, low noise, with active radio-electronic interference. Armament 2pcs. TA-533mm, so this is not enough, for the destruction of support vessels. The crew of 7-13 people, in case of defeat, losses are minimal. Slowly crept up, made a start ... and into the base for loading.

      2 then torpedoes?

the boats look even more terrifying than our pre-war ... one must be a hero in order to try to drown the enterprise on it ..
Look at the welds, where is the rubberized durable body to reduce noise and improve hydrodynamic performance?
      all this is sad ..

The hit of at least one torpedo, even if it does not sink the ship, but will require repair, which means a way out of hostilities and a decrease in the combat potential of the entire grouping. And the repair will last more than one day. So, I think the decision to manufacture such boats is justified. And they rivet such boats quite quickly.

13.02.2012/11/XNUMX US aircraft carriers will be the main target of two new small Iranian submarines launched, said Deputy Commander of the Naval Forces of Iran, Admiral Farhad Amiri, on February XNUMX.

The admiral said that "Iran has the best diesel submarines in the world, and the enemies of Iran, the United States, are first of all shocked by the fantastic underwater capabilities of the Ghadir (a type of submarine launched)."

In a holiday interview with the Islamic news agency ISNA, the head of the Iranian Navy, Rear Admiral Habibolah Sayyari, said that "all parts of the submarines, including the hull, navigation systems, radars and weapons, are made in Iran."

Sayyari said the submarines "improved Iran's underwater defensive capabilities," reports

Of course, so far this is only PR from the command of the Iranian Navy. But it should be noted that this is official information, and how much and what class of submarine fleet is being created in Iran is not for our ears. Let's hope that we know only a small percentage of the truth regarding Iran’s defense industry.

In the photo are not boats but cans, they would have at least one project 971 for our boat, then Israel would have sat on the ass and did not blather! laughing

If such an Iranian shell is supposed to go into a battering ram and crash into an Ohio-class boat, then on the on-board computer of the us boat will read: DETECTED A NEW DEVICE-INSTALL? laughing laughing laughing
