A court in Odessa confiscated a Tanzanian ship entering the Crimea

Malinovsky District Court of Odessa decided to confiscate the Tanzanian cargo ship Sky Moon, which entered the Crimea without the permission of Ukrainian customs, flies TASS.
The court found the captain guilty of transferring more than 3000 tons of technical soda outside the Ukrainian customs control from the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and decided to confiscate the smuggling goods worth almost 18,5 million hryvnias ($ 688 thousand) to the state. The court also made a decision on confiscation and the vehicle used to commit the offense.

The vessel was detained by the Ukrainian border guard in late November last year on the Danube on its way from Sevastopol to the Moldovan port of Giurgiulesti. On board were 9 team members - all citizens of Syria.
According to the military prosecutor's office, in relation to the captain of the vessel "an indictment was drawn up", the rest of the crew were brought to administrative responsibility.
