Until November of this year, the search and rescue services of the Navy will receive more than 10 underwater rescue robots - remote-controlled uninhabited underwater vehicles (TNPA) "Marlin-350", reports Interfax-AVN message of the representative of the Navy Igor Dygalo.

This year the Russian Navy will receive more than ten robotized underwater vehicles

By the end of 2017, it is planned that the Russian Navy’s search and rescue service will receive more than 10 robots of the Marlin-350 robots, designed to search and survey emergency submarines,
said Dygalo.

According to the report, “marlin-350 remotely controlled unmanned submarines (TNLA) are designed to search for emergency submarines and other objects, followed by inspection and survey work under water in coastal marine areas or inland waters.”

Dygalo added that the search and rescue forces are equipped with “Marlin-350” type devices as part of the activities of the High Command of the Navy to introduce robotic rescue technologies to reduce the risk of underwater work involving diving specialists. ”

The "Marlin-350" TNPA can be used for installing hydroacoustic markers and lifting objects captured by the manipulator.

“It is equipped with six propulsion devices, of which four (horizontal) are arranged according to the vector diagram. Thanks to the technical solution to the construction of the control system, as well as the use of the modern Marlin-350 element base, it allows to provide high accuracy and speed for the control engines to drive control signals (changes in rotation speed, reverse), which meets the highest requirements for search and rescue equipment of a new generation, ” - said the representative fleet.

A distinctive feature of the TNPA is its mobility and maneuverability. “This is a rapidly deployable, easy-to-use system, which is important for tough search and rescue regulations conducted by the Navy’s search and rescue forces,” he noted.

"In 2016, JSC" Tethys Pro "by the order of the Navy was made 12 vehicles" Marlin-350 ". They are equipped with anti-diversion boats of the 21980 project, rescue tugs of the 22870 project and other rescue vessels, ”Dygalo said.

    Question-Why so little then? Or is our fleet equipped with the residual principle?

    TNLA light class "Marlin-350"

    TNLA light class "Marlin-350" is intended for additional search of underwater objects and performing underwater technical, prospecting and inspection work in coastal or inland waters at depths up to 350 meters. Devices of this class are actively used by the structures of the Ministry of Emergencies and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in search operations, for the protection of water areas, inspection of pipelines and cable lines, under-ice work, scientific research, in oil and gas fields. In addition, the apparatus can be used to install hydraulic markers and lift objects captured by the manipulator.
    Features
    High maneuverability and stability on the course;
    Optimum weight and size characteristics;
    Mobility, minimum deployment time and ease of use;
    High reliability and ease of maintenance due to the use of magnetic couplings in propulsors;
    The ability to expand the system and install additional equipment.
    Description
    TNLA "Marlin-350" is equipped with six propulsors, with four horizontal ones arranged in a vectorial pattern. This type of arrangement is the most optimal for maneuvering the device, and this, in turn, simplifies the search and survey work. Each mover is equipped with a magnetic coupling, which allows you to transfer rotation from the motor shaft to the propeller, bypassing the stuffing box seal. This significantly increases the reliability and ease of maintenance of consumer technical equipment as a whole. Thanks to the original technical solution for constructing a control system, as well as the use of modern components, they provide high accuracy and speed for the driving engines to control signals (changes in rotation speed, reverse). A thin, flexible optoelectric cable with low resistance to movement and close to zero buoyancy is used to connect the underwater vehicle and the surface module.
    The data transmission system is constructed in such a way that allows you to connect a lot of additional sensors and special equipment for underwater work and search. It is possible to install an additional high-resolution camera, a multi-beam sonar, an altimeter, a round-scan sonar, an underwater navigation system, a single-stage manipulator, as well as other additional equipment.
    The TNPA control station consists of a control unit with three 19 '' monitors built into it, an power supply unit and a hand control panel. The control unit is an interface that transfers cable commands from the handheld control unit to the underwater vehicle via cable. The control station also receives video and telemetry from the underwater vehicle. Telemetry data about heading and depth are superimposed on the video image on the system monitor screen. The sonar positioning system, which can be included in the delivery, allows you to determine the current position of the underwater vehicle and targets relative to the carrier vessel and receive data in absolute geographical coordinates.

      Thanks you! You have more and more informative material than in the original author's article! But it’s not enough to make an underwater robot - to prepare specialists who serve it? At the end of my naval service, when I was transferred to the state, I served as the commander of the MSS (ACC) on the Alagez for three months! Apparently, the authorities decided that since I studied at KVFU VVMIOLU ("divers", that is, future rescuers, aquanauts and underwater saboteurs, also studied at our course), then the "dzerzhinets" "temporarily" can be the commander of a search and rescue projectile (mini PL) !? But I have every right to wear the commander sign "boat" on a tunic! Hello everyone!
