According to the portal TSAMTOFor the first time in Omsk, on the basis of the 242 training center of the Airborne Forces (VDV), the crews of combat vehicles began to retrain on the latest military equipment models, BMD-4M and BTR-MDM Rakushka, entering the airborne units and airborne units.

Training is conducted under the retraining program for military personnel, approved by the commander of the airborne forces.



At the beginning of the current year, according to the manning plan, 242 units entered the 10-th training center of the Airborne Forces. BMD-4M and 15 units BTR-MDM "Shell".

The first in Omsk to retrain the profits were military personnel of the airborne unit deployed in Ulyanovsk. Within two months, the paratroopers in the crews will master new models of military equipment, will work out the combat reconciliation stage in the platoon, company.
All crews are formed from contract servicemen. The selection of candidates was carried out on a competitive basis, the main criteria for selection were considered such indicators as a high level of psychological stability, good professional training, service under the contract for at least three years.

In total, it is planned to train about 242 crews for BMD-100М and BTR-MDM Rakushka for the winter period of training on the basis of the 4 training center for the Airborne Forces.



In December last year in Ryazan, the commander of the airborne troops, Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov, said that the Airborne Forces in 2017 would receive two battalion sets of BMD-4M combat vehicles, which will go into service with the 31-th Guards separate assault and assault brigade, informs the Information Department and mass communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
