Aircraft of the Russian Air Force made overflights of Japanese airspace

52
On Wednesday, the 2 strategic bomber of the Russian Air Force Tu-95, 2 fighter-reconnaissance aircraft Su-27 and the A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft flew over Japanese airspace around the north-eastern coast of Honshu Island and northern Hokkaido. This is stated in a statement by the Ministry of Defense, published by the media in Tokyo.

There were no violations of Japanese airspace, but the country's air force lifted interceptors into the air. The Japanese Defense Ministry noted that the military aircraft of Russia for the first time in such numbers flew over the airspace. This approach of the radar reconnaissance aircraft was also unprecedented - the Japanese interceptors first photographed it.

Last year, two strategic Tu-95MS of Russia bomber over 19 hours flew over the mainland of Japan from Kyushu to Hokkaido, without violating the country's airspace. This patrol was observed by 10 fighters of the Japanese and South Korean Air Forces. After this flight, the Japanese government officially asked the Russian Federation to refrain from such flights in the future, ITAR-TASS reports.

Well done! Keep it up! For everyone to tremble, for respect.
Unfortunately, nothing has changed now. Who is stronger is respected and respected. It is well known that Japan is the Far-Eastern satellite of America and the closest bridgehead on our eastern border is still the same America .. It is not surprising that ours collect intelligence data in the light of recent events related to Syria and Iran .. This is a blow to the nerves not of Japan but to Uncle Sema from the states ..)))

By 2020, the Russian Air Force will receive ten modernized strategic missile carriers Tu-160, known among pilots under the nickname "White Swan". According to a press release from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the aircraft will undergo a deep modernization, as a result of which their combat effectiveness will at least double. One of the combatant Tu-160 is currently being upgraded to the Tu-160M version.

Tu-160M, as expected, will be equipped with a new weapon system, as well as electronic and aviation equipment. The aircraft will be able to carry promising cruise missiles and new bomb weapons.

Also inclined to this. Preventively and defiantly warning, there seems to be a reason. And here is another note about this event:
“On Wednesday morning, Tokyo took off several fighters when Russian military aircraft were seen near Japanese airspace. They remained in the region for 12 hours.

The Japanese Ministry of Defense reports that on Wednesday morning, two Russian Tu-95 bombers and an A-50 reconnaissance aircraft approached the west of Japan from the Sanin region. Japanese fighters immediately flew into the air and followed them.

According to the ministry, two bombers were near the Japanese archipelago for 12 hours, and the A-50 circled Sanin’s waters for nine hours. This aircraft is equipped with a long-range radar detection and control system.

At about noon, two more Su-24 reconnaissance aircraft approached the airspace of Japan between Hokuriku and Hokkaido, in the north of the country. They were over the Sea of Japan for several hours.

None of the planes invaded Japanese airspace, but the Department of Defense claims that Russian military planes rarely fly in such numbers in such close proximity to Japan.

The military adds that never before have Russian aircraft equipped with an early warning system been seen near the borders of Japan. Perhaps, the ministry suggested, the Russian Air Force is conducting sophisticated reconnaissance exercises. "

And, in my opinion, one should not respond to their protests at all, only strengthen patrols and tightly close the economic zone for Japanese fishermen, and when the protests are repeated they will say harshly. That is due to the lack of a peace treaty and the aggressive speeches of Japanese officials and public organizations to strengthen patrols and, if necessary, we consider ourselves entitled to fly in the airspace of Japan, and also to put DFL on duty on their shores

Laugh further, but this is a common occurrence, enemy planes located at the borders of the country are always accompanied by interceptors, and here strategic bombers...
