Ukrainian Air Force plans to replenish 2017 with airplanes in 60

89
According to the Internet portal military-informant.com, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine intends to carry out the repair and modernization of 60 aircraft in 2017 year.

The speaker of the military department, Dmitry Gutsulyak, said this at a briefing at the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center:

The air forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to increase their combat capabilities. This year it is planned to modernize and repair about 60 airplanes and helicopters.

In addition, the plans of the Ukrainian leadership include the repair and modernization of about 30 units of equipment and weapons of radio engineering troops, the purchase of about 400 new types of communication equipment and radio engineering support of flights.

As the bmpd blog previously reported, in 2016 (declared the year of the air force), the Ukrainian Air Force was replenished with six MiG-29 fighters: the "72", "73", "75", "76" aircraft entered the 114th tactical brigade aviation, "01" and "02" (upgraded to the MiG-29MU1 level) - in the 40th BrTA. After repair, the Su-831 with numbers "39", "27" and "36" ("Ivan Ilyich Babak") entered the 55th BrTA and the 57th UAE after repairs. In addition, the repaired Su-27UB with a tail number of 67 is being prepared for transfer to the unit. Migremont also repaired the Su-27UB with hull number "69", which received damage as a result of rolling out of the runway. The 299th BrTA received the Su-25M1 attack aircraft with tail numbers "30" and "39", as well as the "twin" Su-25UBM1 with tail number "62". It should be noted that these aircraft are equipped with additional protection against missiles with infrared homing. Concerning transport aviation, this year repair of six An-26 of various modifications was ordered. So, in the summer of the 203rd NABr received the repaired An-26 with tail number “50”, in October the An-410 with tail number “26” came out from the 35th ARZ, and later the An-26RT with tail number “20”, which replenished the 456th armored personnel carrier. Also, according to the plant, the An-26 with tail number "02" for the 15th armored personnel carrier was repaired. In 2016, one of the tactical aviation brigades received a modernized training aircraft L-39M with tail number "109", which is equipped with the BTK-39 training complex. Another L-39 with tail number "123" became part of the 114th BrTA.

It was enough in the USSR when there was an established system of training and service in the troops.
Well, let's say there are probably talents, but who will teach them where? Yes, and the preparation will take more than one year. And this is not to mention the fact that the very fact of the implementation of the declared work is highly doubtful - even if the money is not stolen, does it have the necessary production capacity? Aircraft are not bicycles, and their repair requires the work of an entire industry, but is there any?

The question is to what extent does this list correspond to realities

What is unrealistic in 60 LA? At the same time, these are in total both fighters and attack aircraft and transporters and helicopters.

and if so, how exactly they were repaired - installed new equipment or collected junk that is still good for something.

I think more likely the second. “Removed from storage” plus minor repairs as described in the article.

Maybe, but as far as I remember they had trouble before the Maidan, and now even more so, so I doubt it.

When it was, and when it wasn’t, It was there in the 90s, when young pilots were released without a raid. Here is the same Savchenko, for example, as the helicopter pilot says only theoretically, and so she didn’t fly into the school and has no right to fly.
But firstly, this was not always the case, and secondly, it was only about 60 pilots. Scraped together. I have a friend, for example, my father, a helicopter pilot from Sambir, Lviv region. Now he is probably a pensioner, but he flew all the 90s and 2000s, somewhere in Africa he was part of the UN contingent.

How much does it cost to train one military pilot? Not to mention the material and technical base and the availability of qualified instructors. Specific example. At the "repair", on the fly-off after the SU-25 repair, the pilot (23 years old) crashed into a power transmission support. With the loss of the pilot, the plane and the support itself. This is the level of all Ukrainian air forces. Their soldiers in the trenches are hungry, they are still thinking about creating combat-ready air forces. Storytellers.

Well, as I understand it, you need to look less at Kisilev, or rather, trust less. If this infa is true, then the volume for such a small country is not particularly small ... It is clear that there is now Russia of the 90s, in addition with the invasion of the Nazis. But not everything is there as our media describe to us. They’ve been burying Ukraine for a couple of years now, they’re about to shut down, but we’ll shut off the valve and wash your cranes ... But there it is. Recently, a godfather at work (they say "embargo") was there. 2 times, in the fall and in the winter (by itself I got through the Republic of Belarus, but no one mocked at the checkpoint). In Kiev. So he says that reality is far from what they show. Even walked the streets during the day, fotal. And did not receive. laughing
So, nobody canceled the propaganda. And the Raiders, I think they have enough. The only question is what will fly into the Donbass, and who will answer them and how? And will he answer at all ...
In fact, with this information war you can easily lose touch with reality ...

Last question even wiki knows the answer
On November 10 of 2014 of the year, the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, based on the results of early elections to the Verkhovna Rada of the 2014 of the year, officially announced Yulia Mamchur as the elected People’s Deputy of Ukraine according to the list of Petro Poroshenko bloc (No. 6 in the list).
Together with the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Alexey Goncharenko awarded the Turkish pilot who shot down a Russian plane in the sky over Syria 24 November 2015 year symbolic order.
      Well, without Wiki
Now the people's deputy from BPP Mamchur is the deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense.
According to the latest declaration for the 2015 year, Mamchur and his wife have 252 thousand UAH in bank accounts, 134 thousand UAH of salary, and Mamchur received 503 thousand UAH of compensation from the Ministry of Defense for the housing provided for receiving. Mamchur said that he owned an unfinished apartment in Kiev on 41,5 sq.m, and his wife owned a house on 46 sq.m in the Cherkasy region. Yuli Mamchur purchased a NISSAN X-TRAIL car worth 827 thousand UAH.
The People’s Deputy Mamchur on February 10 reported this to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
We are talking about cars NISSAN X-TRAIL 2014 model year. The people's deputy noted that he became its owner 26 January.
Previously, Mamchur had a car Renault Megan II 2005 model year.
      But this is all offtopic.
      About upgrades
The Ukrainian Air Force is actively restoring the heavy Su-27 fighters that went after the collapse of the Soviet army.
The military leadership of Ukraine decided to restore the fleet of heavy fighters such as Su-27 and combat training aircraft Su-27UB as much as possible. Aircraft undergo restoration work and partial modernization.

      from offers
The introduction of an IRIS or FLIR 2000 thermal imager, an 1553B digital data bus, an additional combat mission and navigation digital computer, integration of a modernized radar, new software
Possibility to install fuel tanks in the cockpit compartment. Modernization of RD-33 using Western technology to increase efficiency, power and stealth in the infrared range
Introduction of digital avionics standard MIL STD-1553B, INS-GPS system "Sigma", a compact digital map generator, the introduction of three-dimensional envelope of the surface. Installation of radiation warning detectors, missile launch, active and passive jamming systems.
Installation of modern HUD, 3 (or 2) flat color multifunction displays, digital map indicator., TV system OK. The delivery of a ground-based flight training system, a modern simulator. Serial production of the Fazotron development radar is possible at Novator Production Center, Khmelnitsky, or it is proposed to upgrade to 117 ARZ with Israeli-made equipment. (This is only a moment of 29)
in general, a big article is needed ... but since it is Ukraine and a sample society after 2014 .. there is no one to write it for.

Katya 2. Thank you very much for the detailed answer, but I will argue with you on the first position. I followed the events in Crimea very closely, as a ticket was taken to Simferopol, but was late for one or two days - the sky was already closed ... So: this episode was filmed. Mamchur walked ahead of the line, near the Battle Banner, after him in the convoy three or four went all this murmur (aviator pilots). When the seventh-eighth line passed by the operator, it was at that moment that someone out of order shouted: "America is with us!". So this highly patriotic act was not committed by Mamchur, but by someone from his heroic regiment, most likely a half-witted aircraft technician ... They then massively fell from the Khokhlyat army. How do you leave the farm in Lyubimovka?
There’s a garage, here’s a car, and a shed with a little pig and chickens ... Yesterday America is with him, today he is a citizen of great Russia. Something like this. And Vicki sometimes lies.

In order to modernize something, you need to have something for your soul, even spare parts for replacing the exhausted resources, I am silent about new technologies, and if modernization is a new painting, then it’s truly overwhelming laughing

Haha! And what kind of shisha?
Repair and modernize the plane - this is not a shock absorber for the car to change.
And who will upgrade them? KB battalion of Azov?

Renovated. For parades and propaganda will do.
At the expense of combat effectiveness, even 60 new APUs will not help. With such a neighbor No.

who and why will buy the necessary repair kits at Russian plants ...
and more precisely learn about the end user ...

except in Russia there’s nowhere to buy them ...

It was smooth on paper, but forgot about the ravines, and walk on them. In this case, fly.

Who will fly? Witch Savchenko on a broomstick? What weapons, whose avionics? They plan to be a master. It’s in their interests not to do this.

You never know. There were enough Ukrainians of talented pilots.

    On a broomstick??????????????????

They are not friends with Russia now, and spare parts can only be taken from "dead" planes

At Migremont they do so. Sorting units, with the replacement of gaskets, filters and the rest of the little things. That's just a repair can not be called. Anyone who has encountered aviation knows that even to change a rubber gasket or oil seal, then you need to take from the warehouse new ones (if any), and not expired, ten years ago. With a high probability that they will crack, leak, tear or something else like that. To fly on airplanes after such a repair is a lottery with a high probability of losing. But you can bravely report on the "commissioned" sides.

sooner or later Ukrainians will roll out Donetsk and Lugansk if they do not hold urgent elections of the president of Ukraine by involving Russian hackers. this is of course a joke but maybe soon it will be no laughing matter

Communicated personally with one dill. A scanty raid. Those state as we have 20 years nazat - to release one you need two donors and an infinite extension of the resource "commission" order. And all this with a kind of sly smile. Probably really worse ...

It’s quite possible to repair transport vehicles. Without modification of the An-26, where to modify the 410 ARZ GA, it’s just tied to the Aviant plant in Kiev and all spare parts (although it’s possible by the age of the old ones, although they were mothballed), MiGs can also be parked to the fence of the Odessa Air Force ARZ disassemble With Dry-problem (if you do not receive spare parts from third countries)

Enough already to post Poroshenko’s drunken ravings, you need to get used to and do not pay attention to statements like building a fleet, invented an assault rifle, a rocket, a drone and so on. All this is for domestic use, so that Ukraine continues to gallop. Ours, however, pick up and begin to circulate this nonsense.
