Lockheed Martin Announces C-130 Hercules Program Reached historical milestones after the delivery of two thousand four hundredth aircraft. The MC-130J Combat Shadow II was handed over to the US Air Force Special Operations Command.

According to the company, the delivery of this aircraft was preceded by a record year in the production of C-130J at the company's plant in Marietta, Georgia. In 2011, the plant delivered the X-NUMX of the C-33J Super Hercules aircraft, which is a new record in the production of the C-130J model. The aircraft were delivered in six different configurations to six customers: the US Air Force Military Transport Command, the Special Operations Command, the US Marine Corps, Canada, India and Qatar.

Currently in production are C-130J aircraft for the US Air Force and the Marine Corps, Iraq, Israel, the Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Oman and Tunisia. C-130Js are also used in Australia, Canada, Denmark, India, Italy, Norway, Qatar, the United Kingdom and the US Coast Guard.
