Frames launch intercontinental ballistic missile "Topol-M"

The Topol-M rocket launched on January 16 from the Plesetsk cosmodrome struck a conventional target on the Kamchatka Peninsula, according to the Information and Mass Communications Department of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The report notes that the missile training combat unit struck a conventional target with high accuracy.

The launch was conducted in order to verify the stability of the flight-technical characteristics of an intercontinental ballistic missile of this type.
