On Thursday PJSC Taganrog aviation scientific and technical complex named after G.M. Berieva ”(TANTK) handed over to the crew of the Russian Emergencies Ministry the first Be-200ES emergency amphibious aircraft, which received its own name Alexander Razgonin.
The plane “successfully completed the bearer and acceptance testing program, including performing take-offs, landings from the Black Sea, as well as fences and water discharges,” the company's press service reported.
On the basis of the existing operating experience of previous aircraft and in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, major changes were made to the design of the B-200.
“The onboard equipment of the amphibian has been updated, major changes have been made to the design of the airframe, which has been strengthened and brought to the requirements of mass production,” the report says.
“The aircraft will be operated as part of the Southern Regional Center EMERCOM of Russia. After the ceremony of transfer to the crew of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Be-200ChS, “Alexander Razgonin” made a flight to the place of its permanent base in Rostov-on-Don, ”the press service added.
