Crews of long-range aviation successfully completed the tasks of the air patrol plan

According to the approved plan, long-range aviation pilots regularly conduct air patrols over the neutral waters of the Arctic, Atlantic, Black Sea, and Pacific Ocean, both from the base and operational airfields. The flight crews during such flights increase the level of training, and also work out various issues on the flying crews and the various elements of flight training.
All flights of aircraft of the Air Force are carried out in strict accordance with the International Rules for the Use of Airspace over Neutral Waters, without violating the borders of other states.
In 2011, long-range aviation crews made about 50 sorties for air patrols.
