The situation in Syria is still tense

Alarming information is still coming from Syria about the ongoing clashes between the forces of the current government and the militants. The Minister of Internal Affairs of this country once again confirmed the readiness of law enforcement agencies to ruthlessly prosecute those who transgressed the law.

28 January Syrian border guards managed to repel the invasion of terrorists by Turkey. In the area of Dzhanudiya, located near the town of Jisr al-Shugur, there was a battle, as a result of which several militants were killed, the rest managed to escape to the neighboring territory.

Currently in Syria, operations are being carried out to prosecute rebel troops in the provinces of Hama and Homs. In Talbis and Rastan, battles were fought between units of the regular army and detachments of the Syrian Free Army, during which there were killed and wounded from one side and the other. Exacerbation of the situation is observed in Aleppo, which is considered the economic capital of the country. In the quarter of Marjah there are arrests of people opposing the regime of Bashar al-Assad.

Militants are active in the Damascus area, there are constantly reports of attacks on army checkpoints from places such as Sakba, Hamuria, Kafr Batna, Misraba, Rankus. In some areas there is a transfer of military reinforcements and armored vehicles. According to Al-Jazeera, in the Damascus area, soldiers and officers of the government army sided with the opposition around 300. Syrian News Agency SANA does not comment on this information.

Another sabotage occurred on the oil pipeline in the province of Deir ez-Zor, in eastern Syria. There, an explosion thundered and a strong fire broke out, the fight with which was conducted for several hours. Losses from the explosion amounted to more than 2 thousand barrels of oil.

Mohammed Ibrahim al-Shaar, the Syrian Minister of the Interior, also said that those who infringe on stability and peace in the country face severe punishment.

Reconnaissance in force and check of the Syrian military for "lice": they will let them pass or run away. Plus the search for weak points to cross the border unnoticed. And Turkey will get the go-ahead from Washington then and will start "full-scale covert" military operations.

the Jews changed their tactics ... since there are no Security Council sanctions, they decided to finish off Syria from the inside with the help of saboteurs-saboteurs and bribery ..., hit the economy, communications and leaders of all levels, achieve destabilization and chaos ..., create a revolution government and invite "democratization" ...
... hesitation is like death ... if B. Assad believes in his people, and the people believe in him, then he must create detachments of the people's militia or militias to protect his us. points, create mobile anti-sabotage units throughout the country and reinforce the border with army units in order to cut off funding, arms smuggling and feeding by "revolutionaries" ...

    I don’t understand the Turks.
They have a pacified Kurdistan inside and around.
The collapse of Syria will inevitably hit Turkey.
They would develop peacefully and raise the economy (following the example of China and India).
But no, they climb to unleash local conflicts at their borders.
Are they so sure of themselves?
What can, if something happens, occupy Syria, maintain order there, control the Kurds, destroy all the looters, and in general ... fight long and happily?
For example, grab another Iraqi Kurdistan - under the pretext of combating Kurdish terrorism.
Maybe the truth is, Turkey is making big plans?
America could not hold Iraqi territories, but Turkey could ...
They would give the Kurds autonomy, they would be quiet.

Don't wishful thinking. There is a real civil war in Syria. Whose side would you have been on during the Russian Civil War? On the side of "Father Tsar" or on the side of the insurgent proletariat? Civil war is a very painful business and it is not noble to take sides. In Syria, all the signs of a revolutionary situation are visible (according to V. I. Lenin). The upper classes cannot, but the lower classes do not want to. And who supports whom is a secondary matter. VI Lenin was also supported by Germany (at that time it was called the "WORLD GEANDARM"). The rebels in Syria are supported by the United States (today it is also playing the role of "WORLD JANDARM"). History will show who is right and who is not (as well as with the Great October Revolution) - there is still no unequivocal opinion, and after all, 95 years have passed since the October Revolution. Only our great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren can really assess what is happening ...

It’s time for Assad to close the borders, introduce a visa regime, register at the place of stay, curfew, and just about any activities of a curfew nature.
As long as you can roam around the country and across the border, there will be little sense.
Localization of particularly radical regions and cities.
Toughening legislation up to the crack for desertion and armed resistance, periodically conduct an amnesty for the repentant and surrendered to the authorities.
I support the creation of self-defense units.

    1) So on Friday, January 27, the burial place of 17 people was found in Hama with their hands tied and shot in the head. Opposition representatives immediately announced that these were the bodies of “civilians and deserters” shot by the Syrian military during a special operation in Hama.
    2) Iranian citizens captured by the opposition are members of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), and fought as snipers in Homs on the side of the Syrian authorities.
    3) "Given the serious deterioration of the situation in Syria and the continued use of violence ... it was decided to immediately terminate the work of the Arab League mission in Syria."
    4) France reacted most sharply to the aggravation of the situation in Syria. The French Foreign Ministry issued a statement in which all the blame for the intensification of military activity was assigned to the Syrian authorities.
    5) At the moment, the Syrian troops and the police are holding the initiative in their hands. At the same time, fighting in the suburbs of Damascus indicates a serious aggravation of the situation for government forces.
=== And not a single word from myself. Only clippings from the Russian media (given that freedom of speech leaves much to be desired). It took only 30 minutes.
I am personally on the side of the rebellious people. I also personally support the rebellious proletariat in the 1917th year. I believe that there is no place on earth, either dictatorship, tyranny, or usurpation.
All are born equal and free. And when one during his presidency and prime minister made 140 billion cu (given the global crisis), and other fellow citizens make ends meet.
It's exactly the same in Syria. People rebelled not for a "good" life, but in the hope of finding a "good" life.

There are two ways to advance towards a better life: slow evolution and fast revolution.
History shows that the "fast revolution" never brought any country closer to this very good life.
The revolution overthrew the dictator, but instead a much more bloody regime appeared, which either: a) was overthrown by the next revolution again b) slowly evolved towards improvement.

Those. there is no alternative to slow evolution.
And all kinds of revolutions are a deception for idyllic idiots.

The question arises whether the so-called "rebels" will be able to bring the people a "good", as you put it Navi, life. The experience of Egypt and Libya shows that they will not. Rather, the quality of life of ordinary citizens, in the event of the victory of the anti-government forces, will significantly worsen.

Navi. In Russia in 1917 there was a coup. It was later that the "winners" after strengthening their power composed a beautiful fairy tale which was so colorfully filmed by one "great" director, with a surname ending in .....shtein. And before that, even the press wrote - a coup. In relation to Syria. There, by hook or by crook, the situation inside the country is being destabilized. Considering a more monolithic society than in Iraq, a more significant intervention will be required. But I think that the US will try to use the Iraqi experience of buying military leaders. If this succeeds, then things will take a bad turn.

I agree that there was a coup in 17. But for many it is sacred. There are two paths of development. Evolutionary - smooth, gradual and revolutionary - a sharp change (from Latin - revolution). So now in Syria there is a revolution (in Russian - revolution). There is no external interference yet, but interference is possible, both from the USA and Russia. In both cases, in search of financial gain. That is, whoever will not be sorry to sacrifice their soldiers on the battlefield will get involved in this conflict. Although I believe that this is an internal affair of the Syrians themselves.
The fact that a whole battalion has taken the side of the rebels means a lot. With so many, you can win a battle, battle, battle ...
