Day of the Hero of the Fatherland. Dubosekovo
We had a very active Day of the Hero of the Fatherland, having been in three places at once, directly connected with the heroes. And the first point of our route was the village of Nelidovo, Volokolamsk district, Moscow region.
It is exactly 1 kilometer from this village that the Dubosekovo railway station is located, which was just a trip 75 years ago. And it was there that one of the battles between the Soviet 316th Infantry Division of General Panfilov and the 2nd tank division of Nazi troops, which became a textbook.
This is how the Dubosekovo junction in the summer of 1941 looked.
We decided to start with a museum dedicated to the Panfilov heroes. The museum was opened in 1967 year in the building of Nelidovo culture center.
The museum, to be honest, was not surprised. Neither the size nor the content. Small room and room. Surprised utterly, and extremely unpleasantly, the employee of the museum. We obviously did some kind of stupidity by inviting them to say a few words to the camera about stories museum, its values, tell about any unique exhibits. Advertise a little bit or something ...
In response, we were told that the story of the museum is a tour. 600 rubles. If using the camcorder - 3000. Total 3600. We decided that we would manage, especially since we were not sure that the tour around the two rooms was worth it. Note that an independent acquaintance with the exposition of the museum costs 50 rubles per person.
In general, the museum is passed with a careful study of the exhibits minutes for 20.
In the small section, we were met by General Panfilov.
In general, the entire exhibition on 90% consists of photographs and copies of documents. But there are very remarkable.
The last photo of General Panfilov.
A lot of documents without signatures, but here there are full copies:
Another evidence that the entire division fought throughout the entire defensive line.
Then we went to the mass grave of Panfilov. It is across the street from the museum.
Despite the fact that the snowfall ended three days ago, unfortunately, no one rushed to clean the snow. And we just stuck on the porch. While my partner was torn out of the snow, I reached the monument.
The snow was not knee-deep, although such an amount would hardly have stopped us. Therefore, we paid tribute to the heroes from our entire audience. Actually, here:
And headed towards the memorial, which is located literally a kilometer away.
Closer approach just did not work, unfortunately. Nature tried.
Perhaps it was worth visiting this place at a more convenient time of the year, but we wanted to be here exactly at the time when the moment of our history was happening here. Perhaps 75 years ago this place looked the same. The same wind, the same snow, the same cold. It is possible that under the same low gray sky crawled from the side where the soldiers look, German tanks, and white snow stained the gray overcoats of the Nazis.
The memorial is impressive. Photos are nothing, you just have to be close to the huge figures of fighters. Gigantic figures, yes. But the giants of the spirit were those who, at these, often the last frontiers for themselves, performed their duty to the Motherland. Those who lived the last minutes of their lives, with the last bunch of grenades heading for a German tank. Those who did not give the last patrons the fascists to shoot at their comrade, crawling to the tank. Those who are oshalev from a concussion, not already thinking about anything, brought the trunk of the "forty-kayatki" or PTR under the tower or into the caterpillar.
Yes, the 28 Panfilov heroes are a symbol. The symbol, the correctness or righteousness of which we are still poked in the face. But all the soldiers of Panfilov's division were heroes, not only in Dubosekovo, but also in other places. We will tell about it in the following materials.
Those who spend their time and nerves so hard, arguing that there was no achievement, I would like to say one thing and only one thing: to use this energy for peaceful and noble purposes. Not proving that specific individuals did not accomplish the feat, but by finding, say, those who committed it. The tanks themselves are not burned. And the Nazis did not just stay there for a day.
And on behalf of our like-minded people, all that remains is to say:
Glory and eternal memory to the heroes!
