Yes, cool station! They brought this whole system "to mind". Skrunda was not mentioned in the infographics, which is a pity, she has a difficult fate.
The fate of the Skrunda radar station after 1991 was a foregone conclusion. At the request of the Latvian government, a bilateral agreement was signed in 1994 on the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Latvia, according to which the station should cease to exist. Since the beginning of the 1990s, the station has been leased at a cost of $ 5 million per year. In the summer of 1994, a competition was announced among firms willing to demolish the Daryal-UM radar station. The locator was blown up by the American company "Control Demolition Incorporated" on May 5, 1995. With a large crowd of officials, the building of the receiving antenna of the Daryal-UM radar station, which never worked, was blown up. The Dnepr-M radar station continued to operate until 1998. The station ceased to operate on August 31, 1998, and on September 1, 1998, work began on its dismantling, financed by Russia. 7 million dollars were allocated for the destruction, explosion and subsequent cleaning of the radar's territory, despite the fact that its destruction cost 3-3,5 million. Work on dismantling the station was completed on October 19, 1999 and an agreement was signed on the transfer of land , as well as the remaining engineering structures and a military town under the jurisdiction of Latvia. In June 2000, the leadership of Latvia, due to lack of funds for the maintenance of the military town "Skrunda-2", decided to conserve it, for which $ 1,7 million were allocated.

radar is the desired product. Voronezh is not a bad option. price quality . Don if finished, cooler. but the price of the solution is higher. Don has more functionality. Radar "Don-2N" on the further need to build from the borders. and Voronezh is closer to the borders. Voronezh narrowly ground. and don a circular view. hi
