The newspaper explains that “the approval of the defense procurement commission is a necessary stage of the state order, which does not guarantee the conclusion of a deal, but allows to start substantive negotiations with a potential supplier.”

The commission also approved other transactions, incl. purchase of 83 Indian-made Tejas Mark-1A fighters (about $8 billion), 598 drones and 15 light helicopters (all Indian-made).

The T-90 is the most successful tank of recent times. I am glad that we have finally learned how to show the "product" face. The T-90MS is like a gap between the T-90 of the first releases and the Armata, but I think it will be on sale for a long time. Of course, I would like the T-54/55, T-72 and possibly T-80 to be also modernized and sold from the reserves of the Ministry of Defense. It is clear as new technology arrives.

"Demonstration" of survivability in the SAR, not even in the top-end modification, played an important role. And if you take into account the price and a lot of significant moment, the tank is one of the best in its niche.

Now the military of all countries, evaluate specifically what equipment is in real battles, and not in advertisements from the Amerov advertising department.
In addition, already the first battles showed that the advertised American military equipment is not as good as the Pentagon claimed. According to reports, the coalition lost 97 armored vehicles, including 9 tanks, including 6 Abrams, 9 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and about 50 armored vehicles.

There are no specific details yet, however, information has leaked that, unlike the Russian T-90s, which are undergoing combat testing in the Middle East, the American Abrams showed low combat stability - in general, they burn with a bright flame from hits even from "ancient" anti-tank weapons .http: //warfiles.ru/show-134897-ubity-pod-

DZ is not expensive and effective, but on the abrams they began to install only on the M1A2 SEP v3 and the TUSK (Tank Urban Survival Kit) modification.

The barmaley's Abrams have long since learned to knock out the "sevens", and then there are the freshly placed TOWs, no wonder such losses.

Not advertising, and not real battles of technology, play a decisive role in the decision of certain countries to their purchases! And the political situation feel

Well, India is not the last country in the procurement of Russian equipment and weapons. And there are no risks of contract breakdown for Delhi in this case.

Now we can say with confidence at 99 percent that this transaction will take place, now our side will be required to deliver tanks to the customer on time, only in the contract it would be necessary to provide for the calculation of part in rubles, part in dollars.

If the roof does not fall at the factory, they will.
How is such negligence possible in our time?
In Yekaterinburg, the roof of the Kalinin Machine-Building Plant, one of the largest enterprises in the Russian defense industry, collapsed. The plant, in particular, is engaged in the production of the Buk anti-aircraft missile system.

According to preliminary data, four people were killed as a result of the accident, about 20 were seriously injured.

Slowly, the 90s are being modernized. The rearmament program has not yet been completed, and a lot of money is being spent on the fleet, aviation, Strategic Missile Forces, on new developments, tests, etc. ... After the 20th year, I think it’s going to go for modernization in the same 90’s faster and faster. Probably the unmanned T-90 will appear by the 20th year.

Unfortunately, the Indians want MS, so the replacement does not shine. And 55, 72, etc., can be used as an auxiliary technique, if there is a will.

Therefore, it is not a fact.

I have not heard about the storage of the T-90 .. this is a rare beast, but the T-72 is being upgraded in full swing.

Part of the tanks will be delivered by Russia, part of the tanks will be assembled in India, part of our components, part of Indian production.

300-350 T-90 and T-90A are used in the army and about 200 more tanks of the T-90 series are in storage.
In the 14th or 15th there was somewhere about this speech, but I could be wrong.

I heard that there is a theme about the modernization of all T-72s and T-90s to unmanned levels. Allegedly, the commander’s Armata comes with a crew led by a group of unmanned vehicles.

God grant, of course. But we must wait for the real contract and, most importantly, the receipt of money! And then the famous Indians "brainwashed" and often take "starvation"! Remember the epic with our former aircraft carrier "Gorshkov"!

The estimated cost of the contract is about 2-s billion dollars, the newspaper said, citing a source in the military.

If you raise the issue of settlements, as some write, then I will not say 50% in money - 50% in goods (tea, spices, medicines, etc.), but according to the currency exchange rate approved at the time of the transaction.
The exchange rate and which (rubles at the exchange rate or pure dollars) will be determined when signing the contracts.
It is hoped that Indian goods will not rise in price for some time. This is a well-established practice in settlements with India since the days of the USSR.
    That something like this.

This means that we will move on to the purchase of the T-90MS. I think that it will become the main one until the T-14 gets to the conveyor. It was planned to unify the gun with Armata, and then they played back like ....

What surprises me more is that, having access to the T-72 and T-90 technologies, prefabricated elements, such as a gun, an engine, etc. (what can be bought on the open market), the Indians torment their tank and cannot bring it to mind .. ..to completely localize the T-90 ....
