In November 2016, the Varyag ferry made the first flight directly from Sevastopol to Zonguldak with documents issued in Crimea - the Turkish side accepted them and provided all the necessary port services. What is this if you do not breach the sanctions blockade? The Turkish official accepts documents for registration filled out in Crimea (a territory that his government does not recognize), draws up the cargo, wants a happy journey, and the local edition also writes an article about how they are pleased with the arrival of the Crimean ship - isn't this proof of that the Crimean-Turkish section of sanctions defense collapsed? Yes, in Istanbul they close their eyes to this, make no statements, officially distance themselves from the Crimea. Nevertheless, civil servants in Turkey work with the Crimean company, accept documents filled out in the Crimea. And all this happens under the joyful articles of the Turkish press.
