It is nice to be among the first to tell and even show something really new. I admit, I was surprised by the absence of this machine on the forum "ARMY-2016", and here you are - welcome to the troops to see.

Since the day of RCBZ is approaching, we just decided to “press” something to this day. Another novelty in our troops RCBZ. But about the PXM-6 we will tell and show with pleasure.

So, get acquainted, РХМ-6. The newest machine designed and manufactured for the needs of our RCBZ.

If you digress for a moment, you should say that military chemists, they are like many others, behind the scenes. It will not burn yet. So "if anything happens" (already got, probably, with this term), it is chemists who can be on the first lines.

The whole question, with what and on what.

What is the main difference between the PXM-6 and its predecessor, PXM-4?

The bottom line is simple. The PXM-4 is simply an armored method of delivery to the point X of the calculation for sampling, analysis and other things. The calculation makes measurements, takes samples, if something is not liked, sets the checkboxes "infected" around or along the infection zone, and then carries the samples to the field laboratory, where already separately prepared people do everything necessary with the samples. This is short.

PXM-6 is something completely different. The first, and most importantly, its difference is that it is capable of not only advancing to the area of ​​the intended infection, but working in it. Not hands and feet of fighters, and the equipment. But first things first.



Who served in RHBZ and understands, will immediately find differences from the PXM-4. They are enclosed in these, if I may say so, boxes and boxes on the armor.

This is the newest complex for receiving and processing information about possible infections and emissions of organic substances. One eye is a video camera, the second is a radar operating in the VHF range, scanning the environment within 3 radius of km from the location of the vehicle.

The received data is transmitted to the receiving device, which goes to the spectrograph, which is able to conclude what the enemy has spoiled. How, on the basis of what - sorry, not dedicated. And there is no need, actually. The main thing - who needs to know, they know.


It looks like a monitor of this miracle. If it is good to bend, then you can get information that this was done in Tomsk. The monitor, of course, touch and shockproof.

The outdoor unit is able to work both in a particular direction and at 360 degrees. Or you can ask him the sector in which he will conduct the scan.

The only limitation: the system works only when the machine is not in motion.

Nevertheless, РХМ-6 is capable of advancing to any point of the terrain to which the BTR-80 chassis allows (and therefore almost everywhere) and to work within 3 km radius not only determining a possible infection or attack with the use of agents, but also draw conclusions about the nature of these agents.


This system is already in operation, it remains only to enter data from the weather station, which is on board.

When the PXM-6 moves, another system works, which also allows, even if in a much smaller volume, data on possible infections and, importantly, on the radiation situation.








Here are the sensors of the complexes of IMD, TSA and KPHR, which allow to conduct reconnaissance of the area on the go and signal the deterioration of the radiobiological situation.

The PXM-6 is also equipped with the Kontrol-2 navigation system. This complex allows you not only to determine the location of the machine or get directions, but also to combine up to 14 machines into one network. And set the route for each calculation automatically.

That is, several calculations can move and take positions, closing the search and detection area, being outside the zone of direct contact, but avoiding discontinuities in the search chain.



The device at least in size and inferior to the usual GPS-navigators, but exceeds them in accuracy by several times. Plus, again, the notorious army strength. I experienced, by the way, while driving, when shooting through glass. The car was so weakly thrown on the bump, and since I was holding the camera, then you know, according to the laws of physics, I went the other way. Exactly in the navigator head. After checked, the navigator was fine. It could be worse, there is a NVD located in front of the muzzle ... In general, the camera and the armored personnel carrier are not very well adapted for each other.

The fact that in the photo almost all devices are turned off is simply explained. While colleagues with video cameras fussed around the car, given to them for being torn apart, I, taking into account the pleasant breeze and minus 4 Celsius, just climbed into another car.

Not for nothing, by the way, RHM-6 was called a "limousine." Compared to the PXM-4 there is much more space. Despite the fact that opportunities have increased. The equipment is also pretty much more possible, but it has become smaller in size. And the heater is beautiful in general.









I, with my not miniature build, with a camera in one hand and a small camera in the other, almost freely (well, almost “almost”, of course) could pass from the place of the car’s commander to the side hatch. And if it were not for the shooting equipment, it would have done it quite cheerfully.

Of course, smoothness is not limousine, but ... This car is not for dinner parties ride.
