Regards to the partisans
The United States has the second largest personnel in the world and, as is commonly believed, the strongest in terms of combat potential of the armed forces. The American military industrial complex is capable of producing weapons and military equipment of all classes in virtually any quantities. The share of foreign models in the US Armed Forces does not constitute even one percent, and even these models are manufactured in the United States under foreign licenses.
US forces are recruited for hire, which is considered their most important advantage. Although in fact it represents their main problem, since the content of the Armed Forces catastrophically increases the cost of the Armed Forces, reducing actual combat capability. Formally, the military call in the country is not canceled, but annually declared zero.
The supreme military body of the US armed forces is the Chiefs of Staff Committee (CLS). It includes the chairman, deputy chief of staff of the ground forces, air force, navy, commandant of the marines. KNSH carries out operational strategic planning, is responsible for the organization of combat training, personnel training, and ensuring the combat readiness of air force groups in the theater of operations.
The highest operational and strategic units of the US Armed Forces are joint commands. In their operational submission are all units and units of all types of armed forces outside the United States and part of the forces on their own territory, including the strategic nuclear forces. Currently, there are three target (strategic, MTR, strategic redeployment) and six territorial combined commands.
The strategic command (headquarters - on the VVB Offut, Nebraska) includes the space command of the ground forces, the space command and command of the global strikes of the Air Force, command of the forces fleet Navy, cyber command (it includes the 2nd Army of the Ground Forces, the command of intelligence and security of the Ground Forces, the 24th Air Force of the Air Force, the 10th Fleet of the Navy).
The MTR command (Mack Dill, Florida) includes the MTR command of the ground forces, air force, navy, marines, the combined command of the MTR (it includes the Delta special forces unit, support and reconnaissance units).
The strategic redeployment command (Scott, Illinois) includes the command of an air force transfer, the command of sea transport, the command of accommodation and distribution, and an integrated center for the support of air transfer. This command is different from the rest of the fact that it consists mainly of civilian structures (with the exception of the command of an air force transfer of the Air Force). Thus, the command of maritime transport includes transport vessels (either assigned to the Navy or chartered), the combined center of the air transfer provides, in particular, the rental of transport aircraft from civilian airlines.
Territorial joint commands exist in a number of the largest armed forces (Russia, China, India), but everywhere areas of responsibility do not extend beyond the borders of these countries. The US Armed Forces are the only ones whose territorial command areas cover the whole world.

Southern Command (Doral, Miami, Florida) covers Latin America (except Mexico and the United States-owned Puerto Rico Island) and the adjacent waters. Includes the 6-th PA of the ground forces, the 12-th BA Air Force, the 4-th operational fleet of the Navy, the components of the marines and the SSO, the base "Guantanamo".
European command (Stuttgart, Germany) knows not only the part of the world with the same name. In his area of responsibility, the entire territory of Russia, the Caucasus, Turkey, Israel, the Mediterranean Sea, the North Atlantic. Includes ground forces (7-I PA) and Air Force (3-IА) in Europe, 6-th Navy operational fleet.
Pacific Command (Camp Smith, Hawaii) is responsible for Hawaii, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, China, Taiwan, Mongolia, both Korea, Japan, ASEAN countries, Australia and Oceania, Antarctica, almost the entire adjacent area. Includes Pacific Army and Air Force, Pacific Fleet (3 and 7 th operational fleets), 1 and 3 th divisions of the Marine Corps.
Central Command (Mac Dill, Florida) covers Egypt, the Middle East (up to and including Pakistan, without Israel and Turkey), Central Asia. Includes 3-th PA PA ground forces, temporary components of the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, SSO.
The African Command (Stuttgart, Germany) controls the Black Continent (except Egypt) and the adjacent waters. It includes the 2 th brigade of the 1 th infantry division of the ground forces (deployed in Fort-Riley, Kansas), the 3 th Air Force (in fact, part of the Air Force Command in Europe), components of the Navy, Marines, MTR.
