"Revolutionary-victors" in Libya are already fighting with each other

21
Participating in the overthrow of the regime of Colonel Gaddafi in Libya, the forces now came together in a military confrontation in the north-west of the country.

In the immediate vicinity of the town of Garyan, which is 80 kilometers south of the capital Tripoli, hotbeds of military conflict arose that did not die out for several days. Groups fired not only from automatic weapons, but also using rocket launchers. As a result of the fighting, more than 40 people were injured and two died.

A delegation of Libyan tribal elders arrived in Garyan on Sunday and tried to bring the opposing sides to peace. However, to this day shots are still heard in the city, and the situation is far from stable. Local authorities report that they did not succeed in fulfilling orders even from their own units, which decided to participate in a military conflict.

The Transitional National Council is trying to take the situation in the north-west of Libya under its control and calm down the most active representatives of the armed groups that once took part in the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi. However, immediately after the death of the colonel, these groups decided to start a mutual clarification of the relationship and are still not going to recognize the new Libyan authorities. A sufficiently large percentage of rebels accuses those against whom their aggression is directed in supporting the ideas of Muammar Gaddafi.

The clashes are not only in Garyana, but also in Tripoli. At the very beginning of the year there was an armed conflict between the residents of Tripoli and the group from Misurata. Eyewitnesses to the events indicate that the "ex-revolutionaries" use small arms and grenade launchers for combat. The situation escalated after the capital self-defense detachments arrested a rebel from the city of Misurata, who was convicted of robbery. Countrymen also came to the aid of his comrade ...

Shortly before the onset of 2012 of the year, without dividing the base of the 32 of the Libyan Special Forces brigade, two groups joined the battle, who had recently joined the country's PNS army. For the base, which was headed by the son of Colonel Gaddafi, fierce fighting began, leading to numerous casualties.

Recall that the colonel was killed in October last year near the town of Sirte, which is the birthplace of Gaddafi. The very operation of the coalition forces lasted for about 9 months, as a result of which thousands of people were killed, the infrastructure of a number of cities was destroyed, the economy of Libya collapsed.

All this is familiar and very similar to the state of affairs in the Caucasian republics and states after armed conflicts or after "gaining" temporary "independence from Russia."

As always with rebellions and revolutions, the happy winners begin to slash among themselves.
Nicho-cho, still remember Gaddafi, but it will be too late and not return.

what is there to comment on that these gangsters will gnaw at each other, it was known from the very beginning, oil fields and a pipe under the protection of private security companies of Western companies, who and how many pumps no one knows. It is a pity that Gaddafi died, he would wait out all this, the Libyans themselves would have called back.

... these are "flowers", in a couple of years a new popular revolution is coming under the banner of M. Gaddafi for a return to Arab socialism, when everything was free: apartments, studies, health care, preferential cars, etc. etc.

It is unlikely ... The revolution still needs to be prepared, and the Gaddafists, at best, will be mired in local squabbles. There is no leader, confusion in everything ...

Ordinary gangsters under the banner of Islam and democratic ideas destroyed the socialist state. Now they will bite among themselves, while their masters will pump oil from the bowels of Libya. Everything will end in two ways, the people will rally around the remaining armed forces of the Libyan Jimahiriya and expel invaders and bandits, or everyone will sit at home and then the clash between the rebels will drag on for a decade. The country will plunge into chaos. In the Libyan issue, I was just disgusted by the reaction of the Russian leadership. The president openly called Gaddafi a dictator and supported the NATO invasion , the prime minister mumbled something incomprehensible. When the opposition began to speak in Russia, they immediately remembered Libya, apparently they were frightened, the president did not express himself anymore on Libyan issues, apparently he was harassed by his senior comrade, and the media began to compare the situation in Russia with the situation in Libya .Although not even venturing deeply into political devices about two countries, it is clear that in Libya, revenues from energy sales went mostly to the state treasury and further to social needs, while in Russia oligarchs from the very ruling oil clan in Russia, and only a tiny part of the funds as a percentage of sales, receive the main income goes to the needs of the state.

Yes, they will not be able to unite as soon as a man appears who can lead a mass of people behind him so they can calm him down from a drone.

No, they reacted correctly (Medvedev and Putin) - one said one thing and the other said the opposite (by all the rules of intrigue).
Essentially, nothing could be done anyway.
Libya was not an ally of Russia, but just to defend it - it is in vain to substitute for the untwisted flywheel of anti-Gaddafism.
And the "people" of Libya would not have appreciated such a gesture anyway - they got fat on oil there, relaxed, swelled out of boredom, and so they missed their state (like we were the USSR in our time).
And do not talk about the "oil clan" - read about the system of duties on oil and find out that all revenues from oil production are taken by the state (which is why foreign oil companies do not like Putin).
And Gaddafi had to spend more on defense, otherwise he naively believed that "the century of wars has already ended" just like some liberals before World War I.

Any revolution or coup leads to a mess, collapse, after which a dictatorship appears to restore order on behalf of the people, the order is brought in with the liquidation and complete destruction of the revolutionaries themselves.

The war in Libya, once again showed that the absolutization of military force does not eliminate political problems, but, on the contrary, pushes them back in time. Almost everywhere where the US and NATO use military force, problems are not solved, but exacerbated. According to the US and NATO, others should restore them.

In fact, the Pindos were not going to solve political problems. Their task is to create chaos in Libya, and at that time they pump oil under the protection of PMCs

More than a dozen tribes live on the territory of Libya. And this was predicted even before the start of the so-called "revolution". It is also inappropriate to discount the fact that almost all the rabble from all over the Middle East has been pulled into Libya. So, it's for a long time.
