Mad country surpassed itself

A mad country, a fragment of the Russian empire and the Soviet Union, which declared Russia an “aggressor” and itself almost the main “fighter for democracy” in the world, this time surpassed itself. It would seem that the bottom has long been reached - the war against its former territories, the fascist marches with the glorification of "heroes" such as Bandera and Shukhevychs, beatings and persecution of dissidents. But then, as they say, they knocked again from below ...
Threatening to shoot down a civilian plane of neighboring Belarus because of a journalist you don't like is somehow very far beyond the bounds of reason. This can only be compared to the criminal actions of Erdogan's Turkey, which in October 2012 carried out a similar act with a Syrian Airlines plane, in which, among others, Russian citizens were flying.
Despite the fact that only a few kilometers remained to the Belarusian border, the crew of “Belavia” submitted to an aggressive demand. The unfortunate Malaysian Boeing is still alive in the memory, and any sober-minded person realizes that he was not hit by Russia or the Donbass militia. Contacting a distraught junta is more expensive.
The objectionable journalist and blogger turned out to be the critic of Maidan Armen Martirosyan, who was in Ukraine on a private visit. And this is such a “dangerous” person that because of him, Bolav of Belavia had to be deployed, threatening to lift the fighters into the air. Nothing dangerous was found in him, nothing turned out to be presented to him.
Now the Ukrainian side is trying to awkwardly justify what it did. SBU press secretary Elena Gitlyanskaya stated: "Is it really possible to take seriously the information that fighter jets could be raised into the sky against a civilian airliner?" That is, she herself understands that this act is absurd.
But the point is that Ukraine has been a country of absurdity since the Euromaidan. And it won't be easy to get out of it. The Belavia company claims that it has a recording of the negotiations with air traffic controllers, and it was precisely about raising fighter jets into the air. All the moves are recorded.
Belavia is demanding compensation for the extra fuel costs. Perhaps she will achieve this. But who will compensate passengers for moral damage, lost time, stress?
It can be said that journalist Armen Martirosyan was still lucky - they didn’t find anything against him. In general, the post-Ukraine is known for its dislike for the press employees who did not support this very Maidan. Or they even supported it, but they behave “incorrectly” (for example, the Inter TV channel. Not so long ago, it came even to the arson of a studio where materials were prepared for this TV channel).
This time, the scandalous website "Peacemaker" "distinguished itself". After vile jokes from die-hard Maidan supporters about the murdered Hero of the DPR "Motorola", "Peacemaker" vilely exercised its wit about the famous British journalist Graham Phillips, who covered the war in Donbass. Allegedly, the project is ready to pay two thousand dollars for the Philips X200 phone, and a thousand for the Philips X300.
This "wit" is no longer just a bad joke, but a direct threat of murder. And if we remember that earlier, writer and publicist Oles Buzina was killed at the call of this same site, everything looks even more serious.
Earlier, Ukrainian officials (in particular, the same Elena Gitlyanskaya who made excuses for the Belavia plane) appealed to Britain with a demand to deprive Graham Phillips of his foreign passport so that the journalist could not perform his professional duties. There is no point in expecting any measures from the Ukrainian authorities against the criminal site, especially since "Mirotvorets" has previously demonstrated open hostility towards journalists, publishing their personal data. After several demonstrative shouts from Europe, this site even stopped working... for a couple of days. But how could it close completely, if its work is actually welcomed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs through the mouth of adviser Anton Gerashchenko? Who openly stated in his blog about the deadly "jokes" addressed to Graham Phillips: "The "Mirotvorets" project continues to persecute foreign journalists."
Maidannaya Ukraine is not only disliked by pen and camera workers, but also artists. October 21 “Right Sector” (banned in Russia), acting under the indulgence of ukrovlasts, as well as “Avtomaydan” and the neo-Nazi party “Svoboda” disrupted the concert of Potap and Nasty Kamensky in Khmelnitsky. Just for the fact that they are Russians, although they didn’t go into politics very much.
In the institution where the concert was supposed to take place, the Nazi thugs staged a pogrom - they threw the floor, walls and props with eggs, filled them with the blood of animals, and smoke bombs went into action. There was also a collision of pravoseks with police officers. According to the results of the “protest rally,” no one was detained, although the police “decide the question” of whether these actions fall under “Hooliganism” (and this also raises questions? How would law enforcement officers in Europe like that react to this?)
However, what can you expect from a state that continues to wage a criminal war in Donbass? And even more ominous news comes from Donbass about ongoing shelling. On the night of October 22, the village of Trudovskie (Petrovsky district of Donetsk) came under fire from the Ukrainian punitive forces, as a result of which nine private houses were damaged. On October 23, during shelling of the same district, a woman and her 30-year-old son were wounded. In addition, the village of Sakhanka in the Novoazovsky district experienced the actions of the Ukrainian soldiers, where one of the private houses was completely destroyed. Fortunately, the owners were not at home.
It is not surprising that the country leading this criminal war creates lawlessness against journalists, artists and in general any person she does not like.
