Advisor to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine sees exclusively a “military solution” to the conflict in the Donbass

Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Zoran Shkiryak commented on the information that after Kiev fulfills the basic points of the Minsk agreements, an armed OSCE mission can be sent to the Donbass. Shkiryak expressed doubts that the mission would cope, and said that “security” would require tens of thousands of armed OSCE representatives. From his post to Facebook:
If you theoretically imagine holding some kind of elections (although, in my opinion, this is impossible to accomplish, at least in the next 2-3 year), then only the OSCE’s 12-13 will be needed to protect the polling stations and support the process. Further. In order to take control of the border and somehow restrain the situation in the cities and villages of the Ordlo (“special districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions), at least as much less.
That is, in reality, you need to attract 25-30 thousand armed in police. But this does not guarantee an effective result.
Further, Shkiryak actually declares that Ukraine definitely should not fulfill the Minsk agreements, and for the “return of Donbass” it should apply exclusively military force.
Shkiryak:
What to do in this situation? The answer is simple.
Continue the maximum international pressure and strengthen the sanctions on Putin and his bloody minions. Our position must be stable and indestructible: full control over our border. Installation of the central Ukrainian government with the raising of state flags of Ukraine on all administrative buildings. No amnesty for terrorists who have committed serious crimes and their leaders! Admission of Ukrainian media and political parties to participate in the future electoral process. Point. Personally, I have a feeling that we will be forced to liberate our land by military means. And it is only a matter of time. I would like to be wrong, but I do not see any other prospects.
One forgot to add Shkiryak: what will happen to the Ukrainian army and Ukraine itself, if the final command about the storming of the DPR and the LPR is given in Kiev ...
