Defense Ministry Answer to British Minister of Defense Fallon
Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov replied to this (RIA News):
Igor Konashenkov, addressing Fallon, asked him to tell how many localities were liberated from terrorists by the British, who had participated in the military operation in the SAR for the first year, how many tons of humanitarian aid London delivered to the Syrian people.
Recall that earlier Fallon also stated the need to create a no-fly zone over Syria, immediately adding that “for now this is impossible, since there are no guarantees that Russia will not shoot down British aircraft.”
The Defense Ministry noted that the West, instead of engaging in joint search for options to counter international terrorism, continues to look for ways to inflame the situation and acts in Syria, violating international law.
