British Air Force for the first time will join the joint exercise of the United States and South Korea

For the first time, the British Air Force will take part in a US and South Korean exercise that will take place from 4 on November 9 to XUM at Osan Air Base in 10-km south of Seoul, reports RIA News the message agency rhenhap.




"The Invincible Shield teaching is aimed not only at improving the Allied ability to strike at North Korean main military sites and its leadership, but also at intercepting fighters from the North," - quotes the agency representative of the Air Force of Kazakhstan.

He noted that "with the help of such exercises, three countries will be able to check the compatibility of their weapons and strengthen cooperation in the event of a conflict on the Korean Peninsula."

According to the information, Britain will send its "Eurofighter Typhoon fighters, Voyager ultra-long-range aircraft and C-17 Globemaster military transport aircraft to maneuvers."

The other two participants will be involved in the F-15K, F-16 and KF-16 fighter jets.

Recall that in the territory of South Korea the Americans, under the pretext of protection from the North, keep on a permanent basis about 28 thousand troops.
