ARMY-2016. "KAORD and KBS". New step to great opportunities
We offer you another new development of domestic experts in the field of communications.
"KAORD and KBS" stands for "Integrated hardware for radio access and security control communications."
Developed by specialists of the St. Petersburg Special Technological Center and the Military Academy of Communications.
Status: passes state tests.
The complex is intended for the operational deployment of a communication system in unprepared areas, the organization of full control over the radio-electronic situation and, if necessary, the adoption of immediate measures to block unauthorized sources of information.
The complex includes:
- a post of a radio mobile communication;
- post security control communications;
- mobile (portable) post security control communications;
- post mates;
- post processing information;
- UAV control station.
The complex allows the following operations:
- binding to field and stationary communication nodes using optical, radio relay, wire and satellite communication systems;
- to provide the necessary circle of persons with the GSM standard connection, including the secret one, with the possibility of accessing the network of the automatic telephone exchange of the RF;
- provide the necessary range of persons with mobile Internet (WiFi);
- to provide VHF radio communication with tactical level communication centers by means of P-168МРА “Aqueduct”, P-187ПХNUMX “Azart”, KRUS “Strelets”;
- deploy 2 independent self-organizing subscriber networks at control points with removal to 20 km from the site of the complex deployment using an xDSL modem and a WiFi module;
- to ensure 100% connection of subscribers of various communication networks among themselves;
- retransmission of digital VHF radio signals and sending short messages to a distance of 180 km using the UAV;
- to analyze voice messages in the network and to detect specified keywords and phrases in them;
- radio monitoring within a radius of 20 km;
- identify and block mobile stations that do not have special countermeasures and are in the zone of electromagnetic accessibility in the on state;
- management of tasks performed using the UAV: photo, video, infrared and electronic intelligence of the area, to retransmit signals, to conduct electronic suppression of communications.
The versatility of the complex indicates a variety of antennas.

In short, the complex can do two main things.
First: to provide communication between subscribers of cellular, wired and VHF communications. And also bring the connection and the Internet to where they were not. "Highlight" in the conjugation of different systems. Roughly speaking, a call from a cell phone can be broadcast to a VHF radio station, and information transmitted via the radio station can be forwarded to the wired network.
Second, with the help of two hands, which are the Orlan-10 UAV, the complex can broadcast any signals over the distance of the Orlans. And each of the UAVs can operate in a radius of up to 100 km. But one of the devices itself can play the role of a repeater, thereby increasing the range of the complex to 180 km.
Given the versatility of the Orlan-10, the drone can be equipped not only with surveillance cameras or repeaters, but also with EW modules. Which turns the complex from a passive element of a communication system into an element of an electronic warfare system of an attacking plan.
But we will talk about the capabilities of the Orlan-10 separately, it is worth it.
In general, “KAORD and KBS” is a multifunctional complex capable of acting autonomously and at any distance, in accordance with the tasks set.
