Kiev: first control over the border, then a steady truce in the Donbass
87
There can be no talk of a stable truce in the Donbass until control over the Russian-Ukrainian border is restored, reports RIA News statement by the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko.
"This is a steady truce, withdrawal from there weapons, mercenaries, and only then can we say that Ukraine can move on to the next stages, ”said Gerashchenko after talks with the foreign ministers of Germany and France.
"We also raised this issue, because without closing the border, without the fact that Ukraine will resume its control on the Ukrainian-Russian border, we can not talk about sustainable peace in the Donbass",
added vice speaker.
Earlier, Sergei Lavrov said that Russia would not mind if the Kiev authorities agree on access to the site of the Russian-Ukrainian border with Donetsk and Lugansk.
Recall the regular truce regime in the Donbass entered into force on September 1, the parties agreed on this in Minsk on August 26.
