The head of PACE with a delegation arrived in "isolated" Moscow

Today, the head of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Pedro Agramunt, arrived in “isolated” Moscow. He heads the PACE delegation, which includes several parliamentarians from Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. The main purpose of the visit of PACE representatives is to meet with representatives of the Russian authorities and discuss the issue of the possibility of “resuming full-fledged relations with Russia in the format of an assembly”.
I would like to discuss with our Russian colleagues ways to resume an open and frank dialogue in order to be able to resume our cooperation and work constructively within the framework of the Council of Europe.
According to Agramunt, it is necessary to conduct a dialogue to overcome the differences that have arisen. It should be recalled that at the initiative of individual members of PACE, the Russian delegation was deprived of the right to vote. In response, Moscow decided to withdraw the delegation of Russian parliamentarians and suspend the payment of membership fees to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
Pedro Agramunt immediately made it clear that the position of the PACE leaders in Ukraine (which is why the controversy arose) did not change, but added that "this should not prevent people from hearing each other."
Is the money? ..
